In December we purchased a villa in Playa Blanca through Johanna at Optima Estates. Johanna dealt with the entire process. Having never purchased a property abroad we were understandably nervous. Thankfully the whole experience was excellent, from the original viewing online, the in-person viewings and then all the legal paperwork and finances. Johanna set us up with a great solicitor in Arrecife as well as an appointment to open a bank account. She even helped us with contacts after completion. We have recently purchased a property in Playa Blanca from Optima Estates. It’s not the easiest thing to do, but the whole process was made simpler by the wonderful staff at Optima. After meeting and viewing many other properties with other estate agents (mostly who were good) I can categorically say Johanna from Optima was head and shoulders above the rest and provided regular contact throughout the buying process and helped smooth out any bumps along the way.
